For over three decades, the NSCA Foundation National Safety Awards of Excellence have set the benchmark for recognising outstanding innovation and leadership in workplace health and safety. As Australia’s longest-running independent safety awards, they honour the organisations and individuals who go beyond compliance—making safety a core value and a driver of business excellence.
Open to businesses, organisations, alliances, and individuals across Australia and New Zealand, these prestigious awards highlight those leading the way in workplace health and safety. With eleven award categories, there’s a place for every innovative initiative—whether it’s groundbreaking risk management, mental health advocacy, or cutting-edge safety technology.
The awards are open to any Australian or New Zealand operating business, organisation, and alliance or individual in the public or private sector, with a workplace health and safety initiative that complies with one of the eleven categories.
You can submit your nomination up until midnight, Monday, 2 June 2025. A live announcement of finalists will occur on Friday, 22 August 2025 with all submissions notified of the status of their entry later that day.
Winners will not only be celebrated at this prestigious event, but their inspiring stories will be shared nationwide through the NSCA Foundation’s National Safety Online News Platform—showcasing their impact and leadership across the industry.
