The NSCA Foundation Safety Team of the Year award is a prestigious recognition of exceptional teamwork and innovation in the field of health and safety.

This award celebrates safety teams that have not only developed and implemented innovative safety programs but have also demonstrated outstanding success in enhancing safety performance/behaviour and cultivating a robust health and safety culture within their organisations.

Finalists of this category must be able to demonstrate their value in three areas: Teamwork and Collaboration, Innovation, Improvement & Industry Impact and Cultural Impact. Submissions should focus on these key areas and answer the following:

Question 1: Describe the composition of your safety team.
Question 2: What were the primary goals and objectives of your safety team program or initiative?
Question 3: What innovative strategies or practices did your team implement?
Question 4: What measurable improvements in safety performance has your team achieved?
Question 5: How has your team’s work influenced the safety culture within your organization?
Question 6: Has the initiative contributed to better industry outcomes?
Question 7: What key lessons has your team learned through the development and implementation?
